Privacy

This page describes what actually happens to your data when you use MakerFold, separated into the template tools themselves, hosting, and any advertising or analytics services that are switched on.

Your designs stay in the browser

Saving on your device

If you press "Save on this device", the tool writes one record per tool (validated measurements, optional text and a few options) and your display preferences (units, paper, orientation, margin) to your browser's local storage. This stays on your device, is not transmitted, and disappears when you clear browser data or press "Clear saved designs". Nothing is saved unless you ask.

What the browser loads

Pages, scripts, stylesheets and the Inter font files are served from this site's own address. The PDF text font is fetched from this site only when you export a PDF that contains text. No third-party scripts, fonts, session replay or automatic form capture are loaded by default.

Hosting logs

Like any website, the hosting provider that serves these files may record standard request information such as the requested address, time, IP address, browser type and referrer in server logs for security and operation. Those logs are controlled by the hosting provider's own retention and are not used to identify designs, which are never transmitted.

Advertising

Current status: no advertising. No ad network scripts are loaded and no ad requests are made.

Analytics

Current status: no analytics. No usage data is collected or sent anywhere.

Cookies

The site itself sets no cookies. Local storage is used only when you explicitly save a design or preferences, as described above.

Changes

This page describes the implementation as deployed. If advertising or analytics services change, this page will be updated before they are activated.
