Jewelry display cards with holes where you need them

Set the card size, the earring-hole diameter, spacing and height, and an optional centred hanger hole. The tool batches as many cards as fit on your paper and marks every hole centre for punching.

The PDF shows small punch-centre crosses by default so you can use a hole punch or awl of the right size; switch on hole outlines if you prefer to cut them by hand. The SVG always contains true circles for a cutting machine.

Measurement convention. Hole positions are measured from the top edge to the hole centres; the pair is symmetrical about the card centre. Every hole keeps at least 3 mm of card around it.

Jewelry card hole layout A rectangular card of width Cw and height Ch. Two earring holes of diameter d sit on a horizontal line y from the top edge, spaced s apart and centred on the card. An optional hanger hole of diameter dh is centred yh from the top. Every hole keeps at least 3 millimetres from the edges. Cw Ch s y yh d dh 3 mm safe edge (dotted)

Units
Card
Earring holes

A pair of holes, symmetrical about the card centre.

Must stay at least 5 mm from the top and bottom edges. Allowed: 5–195 mm.

Hanger hole

A single centred hole near the top edge.

Type decimals with a point (for example 60.5). Fractions such as 1 1/2 are not supported yet; use 1.5 instead. Switching units keeps the exact measurements.

Paper and PDF options

Paper settings change the sheet layout only. They never change the product dimensions.

Border kept clear around the page. A 12 mm header and an 18 mm footer sit inside it. Allowed: 5–20 mm.

Whole number from 1 to 100. The quantity never changes the cut file.

Text for printable PDF

Optional. Printed in black with the bundled Inter font: brand line 10 pt, second line 8 pt. Centred near the bottom of the card, ending 4 mm above the bottom edge and clear of the holes. Not included in the cut-and-score SVG.

Download

Free, no account. Files keep the generated dimensions; print at 100% and check the 50 mm ruler before cutting.

One file per unique piece at exact size. Quantity does not duplicate cut geometry. Assign the SCORE group to your cutter’s scoring or fold operation.

Worked example

A 50 × 70 mm card with 2 mm holes spaced 24 mm apart and 22 mm from the top has hole centres at (13, 22) mm and (37, 22) mm measured from the card's top-left corner. With the hanger hole on, its 5 mm hole is centred at (25, 8) mm. On A4 portrait with 10 mm margins, nine cards fit per sheet, so twenty cards need three sheets of 9, 9 and 2.

The standard card preset gives these generated values:

How to make it

  1. Print at actual size Print the PDF at 100% / Actual size on cardstock. Turn off “fit to page”.
  2. Check the scale Measure the 50 mm ruler in the footer. Only continue when it reads 50 mm.
  3. Cut the cards Cut along the solid outlines with a knife and straight edge or a guillotine. Cut shared edges once where cards touch the grid gap.
  4. Punch the holes Punch at the small cross marks (or cut along the hole outlines if you enabled them) with a hole punch or awl that matches the hole diameter.
  5. Attach the jewelry Push earring posts or hooks through the paired holes. Use the hanger hole for a hook or peg if you added one; check it fits your display before printing a batch.

Every template sheet carries a 50 mm ruler in its footer. Before cutting a batch, print this one-page test and measure it. It is a separate download and is not a template sheet.

One page with horizontal and vertical 50 mm references and a 50 × 50 mm square. Print at 100% and measure.
